A message from President and CEO Michael Horne, EdD
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we honor those we have lost, those who have recovered and those who continue to fight. Parkland is in the fight with you.
Early detection saves lives. As such, we are actively working to help ensure that the most vulnerable in our community have safe access to the mammograms they need during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Because of your support, Parkland will continue to create breast health equity in Dallas County.
Thank you for your commitment to keeping our community healthy.
Sincerely,

Breast health care during COVID-19 |
While the COVID-19 pandemic remains ever present, the urgent need to deliver mammograms in Dallas County continues; particularly in high-risk areas.
Parkland is working to provide more access to screening mammograms in Dallas County areas facing the highest cancer morbidity and mortality to detect and treat cancer early.

You will help save lives with your gift today! |
Shalundria was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer at the age of 30. After four months of chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, she is now cancer-free and playing with her girls every chance she gets.
The first step in the fight against breast cancer is a mammogram. Your donation to Parkland will help ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors receive the care they need.
