Debbie Branson is a member of the Parkland Board of Managers and a lawyer with the Law Offices of Frank L. Branson, PC.
Branson earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Arkansas State University in 1977 and her juris doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas in 1980, where she received the Distinguished Law Student Award. Branson also received her Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1993.
She has practiced law at the Law Offices of Frank L. Branson since 1983, where she has garnered many honors, including being named one of the “Best Women Lawyers in Dallas” by D Magazine in 2010 and one of the “Texas Super Lawyers” by Texas Monthly in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Branson also received 2005 University of Texas at Dallas Achievement Award and was the honorary chair at the 1996 Women in Leadership Conference. Branson is a past president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and an active member of many others organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism, the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. She has also served on the Federal Aviation Management Advisory Council as well as the Texas Judicial Council.
She is married to Frank L. Branson and they have two children, both graduates of Southern Methodist University Law School.
