Andres Ruzo was elected to Parkland Foundation's Board of Directors in June 2007.
He has an impressive background in telecommunications and is the founder and CEO for Link America, which refurbishes and upgrades large switching systems for telephone companies. In 2005, Ruzo received the Pacesetter Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Ruzo earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in science and engineering and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas at Houston. He has further professional studies at Tuck University, Dartmouth School of Business and Harvard Business School.
