Now is the Time to Stand for Parkland

The Dallas population is more than 10 times what it was in 1954, the year today's Parkland hospital opened, and the region's population is expected to double again by 2025. Each year Parkland cares for more patients with no where else to turn than all other Dallas hospitals combined. That's why Parkland is building the hospital for the future today.

Courtney BennettCourtney Bennett never imagined how a single candle would change her life. "...the stove was engulfed in flames,” she said. “Instead of trying to save myself, I tried to save the house.” Courtney suffered second, third and fourth degree burns over 60 percent of her body.
