The Dallas population is more than 10 times what is was in 1954, the year today's Parkland hospital opened, and the region's population is expected to double again by 2025. Each year Parkland cares for more patients with no where else to turn than all other Dallas hospitals combined. That's why Parkland is building the hospital for the future today.
